A wonderful contemporary workshop where students will be doing some contemporay technique and learning some repetoire.

So WHO is PAUL..............

Former contemporary and ballet dancer, and currently freelance choreographer/

movement director, and teacher.

Since graduating from the Central School of Ballet in 2004, Paul performed in

numerous dance productions, including 'The Most Incredible Thing' (Sadlers Wells

and Austria), 'Eternal Damnation to Sancho and Sanchez' (Sadlers Wells &

European Tour), 'Kismet' (English National Opera, London Coliseum), 'Ballo in

Maschera' (Royal Opera, Royal Opera House) ‘La Traviata’ (Scottish Opera, UK

Tour), ‘The Tales of Hoffman’ (English National Opera, London Coliseum), ‘La

Traviata’ (Grange Park Opera), ‘Orlando’ (Opera De Lille), ‘Bluebeard’ (Grange Park

Opera), ‘Rusalka’ (Grange Park Opera), and ‘Lyric Solitude: Programme 3’ (English

Touring Opera, UK Tour), to name abut a few.

Choreographic and movement direction work has included, David Walliams' Olivier

Award Nominated productions of 'Gangsta Granny' (3 UK Tours and West End) and

'Billionaire Boy' (UK Tour and West End), ‘Demon Dentist’ (UK Tour) ’Horrible

Histories - Horrible Christmas' (Derby Theatre, Birmingham Rep Theatre, Alexandra

Palace, and Blackpool Winter Gardens), ‘Horrible Histories - Terrible Tudors and

Vile Victorians’ (UK Tour), ’The Last Days of Mankind' (Bristol Old Vic Theatre), ‘The

Merry Widow’ (The Royal Festival Hall, London), ‘Die Fledermaus’ (The Royal

Festival Hall, London) to name but a few.

After working for many years as a professional dancer, Paul made the transition

into dance education, teaching, coaching and mentoring, and has previously been a

guest teacher at Central School of Ballet, Elmhurst Ballet School, Rambert School

of Ballet and Contemporary Dance, The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, LCPA,

ESPA, D16 Performing Arts, Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Kristian Thomas

Company, Kings International Ballet Academy, and taught and created short

classical and contemporary dance works on summer intensives and choreography

showcases at the Stage Internazionale di Danza del do Garda, Central School of

Ballet, English National Ballet School, and Elmhurst Ballet School. He has also

been guest assessor at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Elmhurst Ballet

School.
